‘Skin Contact: Development of an Orange Taste’ is a short documentary about the resurgence of an ancient style of winemaking. Originating in Georgia, and going hand in hand with organic and biodynamic methods, Skin Contact or ‘Orange Wines’ are now being produced all over the world by small, independent producers who go against the rules of the market. The film features the pioneer of this re-birth – Josko Gravner, along with the founder of the Vin Natur Association in Italy – Angiolino Maule and Daniele Piccinin among others.
